If I were to become a mermaid, I would embark on adventures with all my favorite sea creatures. In "Tiger Shark Tango," I especially love the textured paper that forms the mermaid's bodice and the beautifully dyed magenta paper that creates her tail.
 
Some might say I have a problem, but I believe I'm just curating an incredible collection of decorative papers. Florentine prints, Venetian and French marbles, and Thai and Japanese mulberry papers each inspire different facets of the mermaid ecosystem. I've discovered a magnificent use for these papers in my mermaid collages.
