Living in Southeast Louisiana, we frequently experience big storms. I find the movement and color of the clouds both beautiful and fascinating.
 
I have developed a unique technique with my oil paints by introducing water-based solutions into the medium. Since oil and water repel each other, this combination creates intriguing organic movement. This technique is particularly effective in conveying the sensation of moving water and rain.
