 The collective name for a group of Zebras is a Dazzle- which is fitting, because when they stand in groups, it really can be confusing to tell where one begins and the other ends.  I enjoyed learning how the patterns of the stripes work on different parts of the body.

 

I came upon this piece of oak that had alternating stripes in the grain.  If you look up close, you can see the grain adding a hair-like texture  to the image.
